The 2024 Riesling Wehlener Sonnenuhr Kabinett feinherb immediately shows the steeliness of blue slate alongside a gentle lemon lift. The palate is lightness itself, with the gentlest ease, supplest fruit yet stoniest slate. This turns stone into gentleness, combining peach and citrus to deliver pure pleasure. The 2024er Wehlener Sonnenuhr Riesling Kabinett Feinherb is an off-dry wine (with 21 g/l of residual sugar) made from fruit harvested at 79° Oechsle from upper parts of the vineyard. This offers a beautiful and quite floral nose of white peach, white flowers, a touch of earthiness, and smoke. The wine proves nicely present on the palate and develops fresh and juicy feel of herbs and spices in the finish. The balance and intensity are just beautiful. 2027-2034."(10/2025)
