D'Oliveira, officially known as Pereira D'Oliveira, is a renowned and very historic producer of Madeira with roots tracing back to 1820, founded by João Pereira D'Oliveira. The company is one of the few to survive from the pre-phylloxera era and remains family-owned, with its headquarters housed in 17th-century cellars in Funchal.
