Int'l Wine Review
The 2021 Trisaetum Vineyard Pinot Noir is planted on marine sediment soils and gives an impressive ruby-garnet core with a bluish rim in the glass. Gorgeous floral notes pop from the glass alongside aromas of bright Bing cherry, wild blueberry, Blood orange, dried huckleberry, sweet thyme, and toasted tree nuts. Grippy sweet tannins are structured and will need another year or two in the bottle to all come together.
Notes
From ancient marine sedimentary soils high on Ribbon RIdge. Considered to be the "Grand Cru" neighborhood for Oregon Pinot Noir, the wines from this tiny AVA are pretty special. Just 120 cases of this wine were bottled.
