2023 Cobb Sonoma Coast Chardonnay

Founded in 2001 by David and Ross Cobb, Cobb Wines is a Sonoma Coast gem specializing in elegant, site-driven Pinot Noir. David, a former marine ecologist, began farming the Coastlands Vineyard in 1989, pioneering cool-climate viticulture just four miles from the Pacific. Ross, now winemaker, honed his craft at Williams Selyem and Flowers before joining the family venture. Cobb sources fruit from five distinct vineyards—including Rice-Spivak and Emmaline Ann—each offering unique terroir. Production is meticulous: small lots, native fermentation, minimal intervention, and extended aging in French oak.
