A very autumnal set of aromas opens with blackberries, red apples, and the scent of dew covered oak leaves that have fallen to the forest’s floor.  Blackberries appear once more as a flavor, joined by bay leaf and black tea, and a touch of vanilla bean. The Pinot Noir feels silky in the mouth, bolstered by mildly energetic acidity and velvety tannins. This wine is always one of the valley’s great bargains.
