Review Date: 01/2024Fuller lemon yellow in colour, with a bouquet that shows riper fruit than the Corbins, more expressive. Starts with a certain generosity of fruit then clamps down in a much more austere, limestone finish. A little more persistent. Drink from 2027-2032. Tasted Nov 2023.

This Meursault is juicy and lively, underlined by some positive tannins that neatly anchor this. Some nice floral notes and refreshing acidity. Matured in small oak barrels, of which 20% were new. Drink or hold.

The 2022 Meursault Clos du Cromin has a refined bouquet, more nuanced than the Les Corbins with wilted white flowers emerging with time. The palate is well-balanced with notes of tangerine and peach. Not complex, but pure and fresh with satisfying length on the finish.(NM)

This is aromatically similar to the Les Corbins if perhaps just a bit cooler and with a bit more wood in evidence. There is better volume to the seductive and caressing medium bodied flavors that possess excellent punch on the balanced, lingering and slightly more complex finish. This is a lovely Meursault villages and worth checking out.*Burghound Outstanding!*
Notes
Bill Nanson Burgundy Report: "A smaller but fine nose – some Meursault spice here. Supple, layered but very complex and with super balance. Complex a hint saline."(01/2024)
