Bottled in April with the red 2020s, vinified in stainless steel. Even in 2021 there should be plenty of wine as this is a 2 hectare holding. 95% comes from Villers-Lafaye in the Hautes Côtes, mostly from vines planted in 1945 and 1948, and a touch from Nuits-St-Georges.Classic Aligoté on the nose, fresh apple, citrus, greengage. Medium bodied, quite forward. Correct acidity without being trenchant, fine long finish, delicious in an uncomplicated yet still quite nuanced style.

Orange cordial and light pear notes on the nose, this is nicely defined. The palate is tangy on the entry, with modest depth, not complex but with an ample peach skin, pithy finish. (NM)
