An even mid purple. The fruit on the nose is a little richer, a little darker than Aux Vigneux. The stems are nicely integrated. A certain lift and class on the palate, excellent tension, mixed red berry fruit including alpine strawberry, with a long, distinguished finish. Drink from 2029-2035. Tasted Nov 2024.

Wine Advocate

Review Date: 01/2025
Aromas of red berries, plums, incense, sweet spices and violets introduce the 2023 Vosne-Romanée Cuvée Précolombière, a medium to full-bodied, ample and generous wine that's lively and suave, with good depth at the core and built around sweet, powdery tannins. This is another terrific effort from one of Vosne-Romanée's leading domaines.(WK)

Vinous

Review Date: 01/2025
The 2023 Vosne-Romanée Selection Pre-Colombière contains 70% whole bunch, with the stems shaping the aromatics profile at the moment. It's well-defined and fresh, with light oyster shell and cracked black pepper elements that tincture its red fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with grainy tannins. This is fresh and not long, with a slightly brittle texture, yet there is energy locked into this Vosne-Romanée.(NM)

Burghound

Review Date: 01/2025
Note: a creative cuvée name that combines parts of the following vineyards: Le Pré de la Folie, La Colombière and Aux Communes; 70% whole cluster. This is also firmly reduced and revealing essentially nothing of interest aromatically. Once again there is slightly better volume if not density to the delicious middle weight flavors that also possess a beguiling texture that carries over to the firm, serious and youthfully austere finale. This is also quite good for its level even though it does need to develop better depth with time in bottle.*Burghound Outstanding!*
