Reviewed November 2025The 2014 Brut Special Club is brisk and finely cut. Citrus peel, dried herbs, mint, slate, lemon oil, white pepper, almond, marzipan, white flowers and chalk are all very nicely sculpted in this nuanced, chiseled Champagne from Lassalle. This is a fine example of what the vintage had to offer. (AG)

Composed of 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay from 50 year and older vines on their estate, this is has been aged for 10 years on the lees before disgorgement. It has a an easy to drink, clean, refreshing style and hides its considerable old vine concentration with its friendly, generous appeal. -Gary Westby, K&L
