Tight, dense and firmly tannic, with a core of loamy earth, dried dark berry, mocha and pencil lead, this is muscle-bound from the start, offering hints of plushness from midpalate on, and ending dry. Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, Malbec and Syrah. (JL)
