Tasted as a final blend, the 2023 Châteauneuf Du Pape Télégramme is classic stuff all the way, offering beautiful black raspberry and darker cherry fruit, medium-bodied richness, a round, layered, elegant mouthfeel, and some classic Châteauneuf du Pape peppery garrigue, violet, and lavender nuances. It's going to drink nicely right out of the gate.

Born out of necessity back in 2002, one of the most difficult harvests in the modern Rhone, Telegramme was the declassified holdings from Vieux Telegraphe. The label became such a sensation, the Brunier family decided to continue making it. Now it mostly consists of younger vine fruit and the wine was geared towards a more approachable style that could be easily enjoyed in its youth.
