Note: from Les Boutières. Once again the nose is completely different with its aromas of Granny Smith apple, lemongrass, rind and quinine. The racy and detailed flavors possess an almost aggressive minerality that adds a sense of lift to the bone-dry, moderately austere and lingering if ever-so-slightly lean finale. This will very likely flesh out with a few years of keeping but if you don't age your whites, this may not be your cup of Pernand.
