Boy oh boy, I love Santa Cruz Mountains Pinot Noir. I have ever since I started in the wine business in the area, and it's just grown to be better and better over time. This has the prettiest and more pure fruit kind of persona, it's got this really pretty cherry on cherry nose, with fresh and dried. Then there's raspberry flowers, a little tomato leaf, and an really kind of pretty and loamy earth that brings the terroir into play. This is just fantastic and a really elegant and pure fruited expression, it's really everything you want a perfect Santa Cruz Mountains Pinot to be, at least for me. The palate is amazingly juicy, with lots of cherry and raspberry, but this time the floral notes are more rose and there's still that loamy forest note on the finish. I love this. Maybe you'll love it too.
