2023 Domaine Vincent & Sophie Morey Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru "La Truffière"

Moderate wood influence frame ripe if decidedly cool aromas of Granny Smith apples, mineral reduction, pear and spice wisps. The super-sleek and gorgeously textured, though not denser, medium-bodied flavors are akin to rolling tiny rocks around the mouth on the balanced and impressively long, clean and agreeably dry finale. The innate class of a fine Truffière is on display and this should repay 5 to 8 years of cellaring. *Burghound Outstanding!*
