Here, under Tom Farella's own label, the wine exhibits classic Coombsville freshness in its wild sage, thyme, and dried fennel notes. It is full-bodied with generous blackberry and black cherry fruit nuanced by tobacco spices, with powerful and streamlined tannins and a long spicy finish. (JC)
