Founded in 1685 by Cape governor Simon van der Stel, Groot Constantia is South Africa’s oldest wine-producing estate. This 2023 red brings that historic Constantia address together with Pinotage, the distinctively South African grape created in 1925 by viticulturist Abraham Perold through a crossing of Pinot Noir and Cinsaut.
