A golden colour in the glass. Ripe and exotic aromas that span pineapple, mango and crystallised fruit, with lots of beautiful candied orange. On the palate it's overtly floral and tropical, heady and rich with not quite enough acidity. It has that voluptuous, flamboyant side of Viognier. There's refreshing spice on the finish though, and tang of freshly squeezed orange. (NE)
