Benanti "Pietramarina" Etna Bianco Superiore is a benchmark white wine from the slopes of Mount Etna, crafted from 100% Carricante by one of Sicily’s most revered producers, Benanti. Sourced from old vines in the high-altitude vineyards of Milo, on the eastern side of Etna, this wine holds the "Superiore" designation, a distinction reserved for Carricante wines from this exceptional area. Known for its purity, elegance, and remarkable aging potential, "Pietramarina" is a true expression of Etna’s unique volcanic terroir. On the nose, "Pietramarina" reveals a beautifully complex bouquet of citrus fruits, green apple, and white peach, accompanied by delicate floral notes, Mediterranean herbs, and a pronounced minerality. The palate is crisp and precise, with vibrant acidity that balances flavors of lemon zest, pear, and a touch of almond.
