Reviewed June 2025The 2024 Riesling Hollerin Smaragd comes from weathered gneiss mixed with loam, facing southwest. Citrus hovers over much riper, juicier notes on the nose, pointing to the exquisite juiciness of both stone fruit and citrus. The palate is flowing, juicy, fruit filled and beautifully defined, with a mix of tangerine and white peach. An exquisite, smart, beautifully fluid and tense Riesling. this is a taut, slender Smaragd with lovely linearity.(AK)
