This is probably the only German rosé that I've had, and gosh it's so impressive it almost makes me look forward to Global Climate Change if more wines like this are going to be the result. I am being a lil jokey jokester, of course, but this is super impressive. The nose is what I expect from Pinot Noir rosé, super pretty with a little bit of a watermelon candy note and a little bit of other red fruits. The palate is where this just absolutely smushes, there's a little bit of something tropical and a little bit of a slightly salty watermelon candy note and then just this torrent of amazing acidity absolutely cleaning house and leaving the finish softened and the mouth absolutely watering. This is so good, especially if like me you enjoy a high acid wine, I would love to have this with a whole charcuterie board or just a fatty prosciutto sandwich. I want decadence of some kind because of how much I'm enjoying this, it's the kind of affordable luxury I look forward to.
