Review Date: 01/2024A solid Barolo with firm yet velvety tannins and plenty of strawberry, orange peel and floral character. Cranberry. Medium to full body. Juicy tannins and a flavorful finish. Tight at the end. So juicy with lovely clarity of fruit and solid tannins. Better after 2029 and beyond.

The 2020 Barolo Brunate is redolent of dark-toned fruit, leather, spice, menthol, licorice, dried herbs, tobacco, incense and lavender. There's plenty of the brooding intensity and power I expect to see in wines from Brunate. (AG)
