Reviewed March 2024The first vintage of this white blend from this new Randall Grahm vineyard near San Juan Bautista, this bottling offers warm aromas of golden apple, light almond, crisp peach and coconut flake on the nose. The palate is fleshy in texture with plenty of chalky grip, presenting light pineapple, apple peel and papaya flavors. (MK)

From Randall Grahm’s unorthodox project. A very vibrant and fresh nose with notes of orange sherbet and lychees. The palate is racy and minerally with depth of flavor and a rounded body. Lingering notes of almonds, citrus peel and fresh oranges. A complex and focused white blend. Drink or hold.
Notes
The 2021 Popelouchum Blanc is a rare blend of 50% Grenache Gris, 50% Grenache Blanc grown at Randall Grahm's estate in San Juan Bautista.
