Brilliant ruby-red. Vibrant, mineral-accented raspberry and cherry aromas, along with hints of candied flowers and cola. Seamless and focused on the palate, offering sappy cherry and red berry liqueur flavors that become deeper and spicier with air. Finishes smooth, sweet and impressively long, featuring a resonating raspberry note and fine-grained tannins that sneak in slowly. (JR)

The Farm Winery takes a lighter, fresher approach to Paso Robles fruit, which works well in this bottling of 80% Grenache and 20% Syrah. Bramble, dried strawberry, star anise and cola aromas lead to a round and easygoing palate, with cooked cranberry, rose, slate and licorice flavors. (MK)

Based on Grenache (there's 20% Syrah), the 2013 Touchy-Feely comes from the Terra Bella Vineyard in Paso Robles (located in the Adelaida District) and was brought up in once-used French oak for 24 months. Its ruby color is followed by notes of kirsch, toasted spice, plums and incense. Medium to full-bodied, mouth filling and pleasure bent, with a terrific core of sweet fruit, drink it over the coming 7-8 years.
