Bründlmayer's 2023 Riesling Terrassen is super clear and remarkably intense on the bright, elegant, beautifully aromatic and saline nose that is reminiscent of white peach and crushed rock. It is lush, round and savory on the palate, with spicy aromatics, concentrated white peach fruit, sur lie texture and ripe yet tension-giving acidity and mineral tension. The 2023 Riesling Kamptal Terrassen comes from superb sites on sandstone and paragneiss like Steinberg, Steinmassl, Seeberg and even young vines from Heiligenstein. Tangerine immediately takes hold of all the senses with its ripe, fragrant exuberance. Zestiness pervades the palate with its joyful, tingling freshness, majoring in lemon and slight lemon pith.
