2020 Vincent Foreau "Domaine du Clos Naudin" Vouvray Sec

The 2020 Vouvray Sec, tasted in the cellar last year, and this year chez moi, is a quiet, unshowy wine. Its class is clear, and it doesn't need to shout about it with ambitious posturing or fancy winemaking. It is pure and simple fruit finesse. Sitting delicately on the palate, it is all about elegance and simply being. I would give it a higher mark, but it doesn’t have the length it needs, but then I don't think the Foreaus much care about ratings. (RG)
