The 173rd edition of Grande Cuvée is composed of 44% Pinot Noir, 34% Chardonnay and 22% Meunier from 150 seperate lots. It contains 13 vintages, spanning 2001 all the way to 2017 and took over 20 years to create. Not only is Krug Grande Cuvée one of the greatest champagnes, it is also one of the worlds greatest wines outright. This edition has a bright style that reminds me very much of the 160th edition when it first came out.
