2022 Xavier Gerard Côte-Rôtie

Xavier Gérard officially took over his family’s domaine in 2013 and has quickly become one of the rising stars of the northern Rhône. In Condrieu, he works with prized sites like Côte Châtillon, crafting precise, mineral-driven Viognier with minimal new oak and native fermentations. His Côte-Rôtie comes from top lieux-dits such as La Landonne and Mollard, made with whole-cluster fermentation and aged in neutral oak to preserve elegance and terroir. Across both appellations, Gérard's wines are known for their purity, finesse, and traditional sensibility.
