A super-fresh and very pinot-like nose of bright red berries and soft earth leads to punchy and acceptably dense flavors that offer reasonable depth and persistence on the mildly rustic finale. This could be enjoyed upon release but 1 to 2 years of keeping should help add depth and round off the finish.

Mid crimson purple, quite a firm red fruit, mainly raspberry. Quite a lot of acidity here and some tannins in the structure. Should settle down nicely though as there is plenty of fruit. Drink from 2026-2028. Tasted Oct 2024.

The 2023 Bourgogne Pinot Noir has a pleasant raspberry- and crushed strawberry-scented bouquet. The palate has a pastille-like purity, gentle grip, nice sapidity and length. No complaints here at all.(NM)

Email ScottThis is a very pretty, black raspberry laden Bourgogne with just the right amount of earth and spice. A light and balanced touch of these. The is also a very nice minerality and firm acidity on the finish. It's just plain lovely and very, very drinkable!
Notes
Bill Nanson Burgundy Report: "A mix of Santenay and Chassagne and about 10% from the Côte de Nuits An inviting red fruit. Supple, silky and with delicious depth. That’s really a delicious wine – and finishing really well too."(09/2024)
