Note: from 70+ year old vines in Châtains. Moderate wood sets off pretty and ripe aromas that include notes of iodine, citrus confit, acacia blossom and poached pear. There is both solid volume and intensity to the lemony, delicious and vibrant medium-bodied flavors that display excellent length on the nicely dry and balanced finale. This needs better depth but more should reasonably develop if given a chance. *Burghound Outstanding!*
