This whole-cluster Estrella clone bottling was grown at a vineyard less than 10 miles from the sea. Aromas of violet, frozen açaí, lavender and peppercorns snap on the nose. The wine is tightly woven on the sip, where purple fruit and flower flavors are seasoned with white pepper and crushed asphalt touches. Drink now - 2040. *Cellar Selection* (MK)

Powerful and reminiscent of the Northern Rhone with aromas of cured black olives and leather, thyme and blood. A deep bouillon and fermented-Chinese-tea savoriness hums as a bass note, while spiced medicinal dark cherries and black raspberries bring balance. Drink or hold, but best after 2028.
