Review Date: 01/2025A big cuvee with both Hervelets and Arvelets included. An intense dark purple colour. Sinuously juicy on the palate with dark raspberry fruit, seamless but not super concentrated. Rather lovely though in its dark fruit way. Drink from 2028-2032. Tasted Dec 2024.

Note: from both Les Arvelets and Les Hervelets where <60% derives from the latter. A perfumed and more elegant nose features notably more floral influence on the essence of red cherry aromas along with a herbal tea top note. The more refined though not denser medium weight flavors also flash plenty of minerality on the moderately austere and balanced finale where a touch of wood eventually surfaces.
Notes
Bill Nanson Burgundy Report: "This is usually quite a late bottling ‘it always needs more time in elevage.’ A larger width – plenty of freshness – less focus to strat but it arrives, slowly. Good scale – open, less overtly intense quite complex but a wine that needs to grow with more elevage – to knit together – but the finish is long… I think it could be excellent."(02/2025)
