A slightly more elegant and exceptionally pretty nose easily reveals its aromas of various red berries and spice while exhibiting a floral top note. The equally vibrant if perhaps not quite as concentrated medium weight flavors also conclude in a youthfully austere finale where a touch of rusticity appears.

The Bart holding is in the upper part which will not be classified as 1er Cru, though the lower part may. This is very attractive though currently the oak is quite evident. Not the most concentrated, but the red fruit pleases. Drink from 2027-2030. Tasted Dec 2024.

Bill Nanson Burgundy Report: "A little less colour. Airy but pure nose – slowly more floral. A slightly redder fruit style – more acidulated too. The finish more linear but no less long – and floral. A wine more of finesse."(02/2025)
