Based on 70% Grenache Blanc, 28% Roussanne, and small amounts of Bourboulenc and Clairette and aged in 50% new French oak barrels with the balance in stainless steel, the 2024 Châteauneuf Du Pape Blanc sports a medium gold hue and offers exotic stone fruits, honeyed orange, flower oil, and croissant nuances. It's a richer, textured, medium-bodied effort with nicely integrated acidity, a round, layered mouthfeel, and a great finish. This satisfying, richer, textured white will shine on the dinner table over the coming 4-6 years. There are roughly 91 cases produced. Drink 2025-2031.

The 2024 Châteauneuf-du-Pape Blanc opens with ripe pear and banana aromatics plus a complementary slice of ripe yellow apple. Full-bodied, round and refreshing, the 2024 is a tidy, energetic white Châteauneuf that checks out with very good energy on the crisp closure. (NG)
