Review Date: 02/2025Sourced from 11 different sites in the Napa Valley, Lail's 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon Blueprint is a fine value, sometimes available locally (in Napa) at a discount to the quoted suggested retail price. Sophisticated aromas of crushed stone and dried herbs accent mixed red and black cherries on the nose, plus there's an appealing, savory hint of dusty earth. Medium to full-bodied, the wine exhibits a silky feel and mouthwatering acids on the palate. Drink this easy-drinking vintage over the next decade or so. (JC)

Stunning, this opens with aromatics of jasmine and lemon blossoms, while the core is loaded with vivid flavors of lime, yuzu and mango, along with succulent touches of salted ripe melon. Reveals hints of lemongrass and matcha on the long, expressive and polished finish. Drink now. 888 cases made. (MW)

The 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon Blueprint is a brilliant value based on 97% Cabernet Sauvignon and 3% Petit Verdot that’s sourced from throughout the valley. Its deep ruby/purple hue is followed by classic Napa Cabernet ripe blackberry, blueberry, chocolate, and spicy, leafy herb-like nuances. It's rich, medium to full-bodied, has a round, layered mouthfeel, and sweet tannins.

Aromas of candied citrus, ruby grapefruit and green honeydew melon followed by tarragon and wet stones. Medium-bodied, refreshing acidity with underlying chalky notes on the palate. Crisp and pleasing white with great tension. Drink or hold.
