Introduced in 1984 by Master Distiller Elmer T. Lee, Blanton’s Original Single Barrel was the world’s first commercially sold single barrel bourbon, honoring Colonel Albert B. Blanton’s tradition of selecting “honey barrels” from Warehouse H. Bottled at 93 proof, each barrel is hand-selected and labeled with unique details. The iconic horse-and-jockey stoppers spell “BLANTONS,” with the Letter B marking the race’s start. Aged 6–8 years, it’s crafted at Buffalo Trace Distillery.
