Dried roses and cedar shaving notes combine with hints of wild strawberries and flowery underbrush as the 2020 Nobile Poggetto di Sopra blossoms in the glass. This is lifted and finessed in feel, placing its minerality up front as a tart touch of cranberry combines with sour cherry and spice tones. The 2020 tapers off with a pleasantly chewy sensation, yet just medium in length and gently tannic, leaving a tart blackberry tinge that lingers on. 93+ (EG)
