Considering that the wines of 2024 are generally lighter on average than more recent vintages, this one is nonetheless outstanding. It's a serious value with loads of savory plum and cherry fruit, rounded tannins and a fresh finish. It over delivers at this price.

The Verquière estate has been passed down from father to son for four generations and is now managed by Thibaut Chamfort. Following age-old traditions and sustainable practices, the estate was certified organic in 2014.
