This Xinomavro has an incredibly alluring nose, there's a splash of rosewater on top of the strawberry and bright red cherry that gives this a seductively exotic twist. The palate is juicy with just a little hint of herbal savoriness in the mid-palate. There's strawberries, raspberries, and a touch of hibiscus all mixing with the rosewater and very soft fine tannins. This is a very pretty wine, the kind that makes you stop and give it a second look before you even take a sip. I found myself reading all the notes on the bottle, of which there are many, and smelling it over and over before finally allowing myself to taste it. This bottle is something special.
