Reviewed January 2025Hailing from the southern side of the valley, this has a zippy profile. White peaches, pomelo and yuzu fraternize with hazelnuts and toasted baguette. This is the only cuvée that sees 100% oak—none new. Vibrant acidity laces through the rather weighty and fruit-filled palate, delivering freshness and finale.

Purchased in must from the producer who might have picked a bit late. Mid yellow, slightly lactic but not dramatically so. A little barrel spice. Very succulent, with some sucrosity, the Vaudésir may have just lost a bit of its white bench cool demeanour. Additional ageing will help restore tension.
