This is just fantastic, the nose is super alluring and seductive, there's fruit there with white peach, crisp red apple, and a little lemon candy. It's everything else that's the real story, with the stony minerality and touches of jasmine and honeysuckle making everything beautiful and harmonious. The palate is just as promised, crisp and lively, with a really nice thrust of acidity in the midst of everything else, the fruit is green apple and lemon, there's a beautiful line of salinity running through along with the acidity, and then a little touch of dusty chalk on the very finish. This is such a screaming good deal at this price and delivers everything you want from a full fledged Chablis, much less a Petit Chablis. This is definitely a cannot miss for the holiday season, this is friendly enough to be an aperitif or company bottle, but has all the finesse and elegance to be your white wine for the season and beyond.
