Light colored brick red and amber edge indicating maturity. Medium body, silky tannins and a crisp finish. Shows cedar, leather and dried fruit aftertaste. Orange peel too. Love the aftertaste. A mature and stylish red. Drink now.

Good dark red. Inviting scents of raspberry and truffley underbrush are accented by a note of blood orange. Shows more mineral energy and lift than the other 2009 Barolos here, with an intriguing saline pungency to the flavors of strawberry skin, raspberry and wild herbs. Finishes with suave tannins and excellent juicy length. Higher-pitched than the regular 2009 Bussia. (ST)
