Just a little touch of reduction on the nose, but nothing that'll ruin your evening or force you to quadruple decant something. There's fruit here but it's very dusky and pushing towards savory the whole way through, ending with dark and dusty notes on the edges with an almost blackberry core in the very center of things. This is a tasty and solid bottle of introductory Burgundy for someone, or just a nice bottle to pair with an easy meal during the mid-week, depending on who you are as a person.
