Cardenxe honors the traditional a cappella songs of Northern Mexico. The soulful and raw expression of deep emotion embodied in every drop of this special spirit. Drawn from the high Sierras of Chihuahua, this artisanal sotol is distilled on small copper pots from 100% Dasylirion Wheeleri by one of the regions masters. The Sotol plant flowers many times before being ready to harvest for production, so careful watchfulness is needed to determine which plants are viable. That's nearly impossible across the vast stretches of wilderness where these plants are harvested, but the Maestros persist in their noble quest. This gorgeous sotol was distilled by one of Chihuahua's very best and offers aromas of dense forest floor and fresh earth. The palate is surprisingly fresh despite the complex nose and contrasts with herbal eucalyptus and a nutty richness.
