The 2022 Chardonnay William Hines is a terrific debut from this young site in the Sta. Rita Hills. It impresses with its energy and cut, revealing nicely delineated notes of citrus peel, white pepper, white flowers and a touch of oak. The Hines Chardonnay is very fine, but it will be even better as the vines get older. (AG)
