Review Date: 06/2025A equally restrained if prettier nose reflects notes of petrol, spice, an abundance of mineral reduction, and a mix of pear, apple and floral wisps. There is both fine volume and richness to the plump yet decidedly punchy medium weight flavors that exhibit excellent length on the strikingly long bone-dry citrus-tinged finale. Perhaps the ripest of the Meursault 1ers Crus, with peach and plum aromatics. But Perrières has the backbone to carry this, delivering a perfumed ripe fruit finish with adequate structure. Delicious in this more extravagant style, though the Poruzots has greater tension. Drink from 2029-2032. Tasted Oct 2024.

The 2023 Meursault Perrières 1er Cru has a fresh and vibrant bouquet, with crushed stone filtering through the green apple, Anjou pear and light sea spray notes—quite Puligny-like in style. The palate is well balanced with a fine bead of acidity, fresh and crisp. There is a seductive peachiness underneath that becomes more pronounced on the finish. Delicious.(NM)
