So far, one my top three Rose's of the season! Juicy and tart at the same time! Raspberry and tangerine-tinged fruit with a light overlay of orange marmalade and tart strawberry. So, so, so fresh!

Very pretty and elegantly fruited nose, there's some tart raspberry, strawberry, and a little touch of guava and pineapple. Along with the fruit, there's a little bit of chalky powder mixing with river rocks, rounding it all out. The palate is more intense but just as compelling, the fruit is sweet and pretty, the nose fruits accompanied by a little bit of zingy cranberry-orange zest and watermelon candy. There's a pop at the front of the palate from the dissolved CO2 that gives it the lightest little spritz, elevating the whole thing. After the spritz, its got a really luscious acidity and just a little bit of tannin texture in the far background. This is a beautiful bottle of rose that is more of a have with dinner or some passed appetizers, but you know what if you want this could also be your next pool wine or porch pounder, it's got so much going on but you can drink it however you like.

Notes

The #1 recommended Domestic Rosé from the Wall Street Journal's recent article "10 Great American Rosés to Stock Up On This Summer"! Here's what wine writter Lettie Tealgue had to say: "Winemaker Evan Martin admires the rosés of Loire Valley-based Domaine Guiberteau and sought to emulate its Cabernet Franc rosés with this fresh, lively and slightly, delightfully spritzy wine. Truly one to snap up now, as this is the only rosé Martin will make from this vineyard, leased only for one year."
