The 2022 Zeltinger Schlossberg Riesling Auslese opens with a clear and intense yet also very fine bouquet with flinty slate and iodine aromas intertwined with ripe and elegant fruit aromas. Lush and round as well as vital and saline on the palate, this is a stimulating Auslese based on seasoned, perfectly ripe and golden-yellow grapes. This is a beautiful Riesling Auslese with a savory and stimulating saline/lemon-bitter finish. 7.5% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted at the domaine in November 2023.(SR)

The 2022 Riesling Zeltinger Schlossberg Auslese nose opens with slate and an aromatic touch of lemon balm and citrus peel. The palate is precise, with an utterly citrus-channeled drop of the sweetest Mirabelle and white peach alongside candied lemon. They unite into a very fine, compact, precious liquid that is slender, absolutely stony and toned. Almost like an essence. Very fine and long at 94g/L of residual sweetness. (Sweet)(AK)
