Selbach's 2022 Zeltinger Schlossberg Kabinett offers a pure and finely flinty nose of ripe and lush fruit aromas intertwined with delicate notes of soft, crushed slate. Mouth-filling, round, lush and filigreed on the palate, this is a seductive, saline and balanced Kabinett with a highly stimulating finish and the lightness of a true Kabinett. 8.5% stated alcohol. Screw cap closure. Tasted at the domaine in November 2023.(SR)

The 2022 Riesling Zeltinger Schlossberg Kabinett is from the Schlossberg's upper, more ventilated parcel. A perfumed lift of citrus foliage and mandarin on the nose continues with equally vivid citrus on the light-footed, sweet palate. This is just like citrus fruit itself: sweet but mouth-wateringly fresh, pure, bright, and lovely. 44g/L of sweetness (Medium)(AK)

It offers a beautiful nose made of pear, citrusy elements, oregano, herbs, whipped cream, and fine spices. The wine proves beautifully tart and playful on the fruity-driven palate and leaves a nice touch of minerals and orchard fruits in the finish.
