Chateau Musar was founded in 1930 by Gaston Hochar in Ghazir, Lebanon in an 18th century castle high in the Bekka valley. Surrounding mountains, which run parallel to the Mediterranean coast, shelter the vines. Long, mild summers ripen the grapes fully, yielding brilliant fruit while maintaining the acidic potential of the wine.
