Reviewed May 2023Components of the 2021 Sauvignon Blanc Walking on Venice Beach spent time in French oak barrels and puncheons, stainless steel and acacia. It's pungent and peppery, with a bit of jalapeño accenting bright, citrusy fruit. It's medium-bodied, streamlined and still has an attractive, silky texture, with a long, mouthwatering finish. (JC)

Part of Jayson Woodbridge’s Summer Dreams project, this Sonoma Coast Sauvignon Blanc comes from the same Hundred Acre orbit that brought a distinctive, California-focused approach to small-production wines. The “Walking on Venice Beach” cuvée name is in keeping with the label’s coastal, place-driven theme.
